John Norris Cook, 85, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

He was born February 11, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of the late Finley Cook and Eloise Norris.

John was employed as a document examiner for the FBI in Washington, D.C.

He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston, WV and was a diehard fan of West Virginia football, as well as the Washington Redskins.

John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Vass Cook; brother, Richard Cook; sister, Carole Findley; sister-in-law, Donna Lyle and husband Doug; 3 nieces; and numerous special nieces and nephews-in-law.

He was preceded in death by brother, Bobby Cook.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at Goshen Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Lloyd Via officiating.
